We ♥ Domi 'n Brax for Mr. Dog 'n Miss Beauty, come read why!

Lots goin' on in cyberspace this week. There are contests galore for the prettiest and the sweetest and the cutest dogs an' c*ts. We have voted in oodles of them but one of them is close to our ♥s. Why? Because there are a couple of dogs entered that we think are pretty special. We would ask you to please take a bit of time to follow our link to the polls to vote. First is this pretty Border Collie lady, Domi. She is a senior citizen with a few health issues but even so, she will rise to the occasion and do her therapy work when her illness isn't flared up. Look into her sweet eyes - what more could anyone ask for when voting for Miss Beauty at the Mr. Dog and Miss Beauty Contest.

Next for your consideration is Brax. What more can anyone say about a seeing-eye dog? They give their lives in service. Brax is handsome and sweet and kind. Everything a Mr. Dog should be when he accepts his award graciously and with humility.

So, there you have it. The dogs that we favor and the reasons why. No, we are not related and no, they do not live near us. But we feel that seniors who have lived a life of service such as Domi and youngsters who are following a path of sincere giving like Brax deserve a nod and a wag.

Yes, lots of cute dogs in the contest but this time we are not only looking at beauty, we are honoring the soul, as well.
