Scout says: I'll show you mine, if you show me yours!

A great big branch fell in our yard one day when a big wind blew around. Before the big parts got hauled off Freyja an' I got dibs on this biggie chewing an' carryin' stick. We really like to carry things around the yard to make our neighbor dog jealous of our stuff! We tried a couple of times to bring our big stick into the house to play with, but no dice gettin' it through the door. Momma said we need to play with it when we are outside.

Our big stick is one of the bestest sticks we've ever had to chew on and play with. Sometimes I take one end and Freyja takes the other end and we prance all over the backyard with it in our mouths. That sure makes our momma smile and grab her flash box to point at us. What we don't understand is why our momma doesn't throw it when we bring it to her for a game of fetch! She sticks (no pun intended☺) with the tennis balls. She could be a sissy, but we aren't sayin' a word☺

Do you have a favorite yard toy?

That is one big stick. TD loves sticks too but there are no big trees in our yard for him to find one.

Mom says she just wants to leave your blog open all day to listen to the music:)

That is a nice stick you found there! Some toys are best to be outside toys! Just think, you get to look forward to it, each time you go out.

Good fetch policy - Sola impaled herself on one of those little monsters. :)

Hi Scout and Freyja,

Thanks for popping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment! I love making new friends - and your blog is great - am going to really enjoy getting to know you guys! :-)

I am so sorry to hear about Starr...how awful for your human - we also lost my kitty sister, Lemon, in January this year to a sudden, mystery infection. We were both at kennels because my human's father had just died and she had to travel far away to go and see him...and my other human's father was in hospital with a scary bad thing called cancer so he had to travel far away to see him too. My humans feel terrible that Lemon died alone in kennels without them there...she was only 5yrs old (we arrived together as kitten & puppy) and a healthy young cat so it was all a huge shock. Anyway, the reason I'm telling you all this is just to show that we can understand how your human must feel and we know what it's like when a beloved pet is taken away suddenly before their time!

Looking forward to seeing you around!

Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane

Sounds like you two are really enjoying to play with that stick!
I am not a big fan of sticks. I prefer balls!

A favorite yard toy? mine would have to be my ball, that is the only toy I am allowed to take outside unless we are going to the lake then I get to choose between 3 toys!!

I agree, there is nothing like a good stick, not to mention a bunch of sticks!

Nice to meet you! Thanks for waggin over. I'm a stick hustler too. Mom doesn't like to throw the stick for me much so I think to run all around with it.

We love sticks too - the bigger the better!! And our Mom won't let us bring them in to the house either. What is it with those humans??

Have a fantastic Wednesday.

Hi Scout and Freyja! I really like your names! Especially Scout - just like me! :-) I wish I could bring big sticks in the house too! I tried sneaking in some wood chips but mom caught me!
