If you l♥ve your dog. If you l♥ve your cat. NEVER...

never, never, ever go to a puppy mill and give them your green papers. If you have a pet store in your town - you know where they got their puppies and kitties, don't you? Don't support those bad peoples - educate them about the terrible thing they are doing when they support puppy mills. Puppy mills are places of torture, both physical and emotional, for momma dogs, dadda dogs and baby dogs.

In some places where they breed kitties the poor things never see the light of day. How to we know that? Because our momma has a FURend who adopted/rescued/saved a kitty who was 9 years old and lived in a basement cage all his life and was only taken out to go to cat shows and to have romance with the lady cats. When he got to his new home he couldn't stop purring and cuddling and running from room to room, he was so happy!

We will lve you all of our lives and until the end of our lives. Please do all you can to make sure that the beginning of our lives is in a lving and clean and wholesome atmosphere. You count on us FUR a lot. Now we are counting on you to help PURRtect our unborn.

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!
Words are not ours. They are taken from One Pibble's Wish (with PURRmission). These are furry imPAWtant words if you live in these areas!

Dearest friends,

You guys always make my Mommy cry. So many of us got terrible starts from those nasty places. Mommy has gone to battle with co workers that have said they were getting a puppy from a pet store or the side of the road. Some folks don't have a glue.

A great post!

Education is really needed but conscience is what most people should have too!

Thank you for doing your part in making sure that more people learn about the horrors of puppy mills.

About a month ago a close friend of my hoomans bought a Japanese Chin from a pet store that was "on sale" because it had been over 5 months and nobody had bought him. They named him Percy and ever since Percy came home he's been sick and is having trouble learning where to do his business since he's always done it in his cramped living space at the mill and pet store.

I'm glad that Percy finally found a home, but I wish that our friend knew beforehand what cruel practices he was supporting when he bought Percy.

That is a very good post. I hate puppy mills and pet shops that are known to sell puppies from them. The Humane Society had a protest at one of the stores here and I was involved in it. Afterwards, I passed the store and always so it looked crowded so apparently that didn't help after that one day. I wish we could shut them all down. Lots of love, Holly and mom

Heartbreaking stuff here. Hope that one day there won't be puppy-mills....and one day folks won't think it's right to adopt for the wrong reasons. Arg.

Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,

That is frightening that someone would go to those measures. Thanks for spreading the word.
