You're so right -- there is a bright new star twinkling brightly. But what you may not know,is actually there are two new stars tonight. Our wire fox terrier pack has lost one of our most loved pals, Jackson, from the UK, who died peacefully last night after suffering years of serious ailments.

Check out our blog and the sidebar and you'll come to love him as we do, along with brave Digby who has captivated so many hearts!!

Thank you for alerting us of this terrible loss. Although we didn't follow Digby closely we were aware of his illness and had him in our prayers. It is such a shame that he lost his battle to a tick initiated infection. We are all to familiar with the hurt and sorrow associated with such a loved family member's demise. We will go to his blog and leave our heartfelt condolences to Digby's family. He will be truly missed and you are so right about abright star appearing in the heavens.

P.S. Mom says she's really not very good at poetry! She just plays around with it.

I was afraid that some hearts were gonig to be hurting. And it is true.
I am sad, and will go cry now for the broken hearts.

Very sad news. Sweet pal.
Thank you for posting this, as we did not follow Digby, but definitely feel the heart ache of losing a special friend.

Thank you so,so much for thinking of Digby. Over the last few days (and weeks) we've been moved by the comments and thoughts of people from all around the world. It's reassuring to know that there are so many folk who have been through this and understand what is often left unspoken.
