How's it hangin'...err, what's behind your door...err, got collars?

What's hanging behind your back door? I went to the thrift store the other day and found a pair of over the door /organizers hangers (thank goodness there weren't tools involved☺). My dogs have collars and leashes for just about every holiday or whim or season. Hey, they aren't little floofy dogs, so I have to do the best I can to dress them up with collars and bandannas!

Up until last week, the collars and leashes were strung where I hang my coat and purse by the back door and they have always been in the way because the dogs have so many and I just can't seem to stop buying cute ones when they catch my eye! I grabbed those hangers (I have one more to use on something☺) and thought I had "found the world" for just a dollar!

As you can see, the result is great! No more trying to untangle a mass of goodies when I want to change the "clothes" on Scout or Freyja. BYW, I have more collars that need to be washed before they are added to this assortment.

Do you think I have enough? There are couplers, coordinating leashes, leashes and collars with words and with no words, with glitter and with no glitter, with beads and with no beads, with embroidery and with no embroidery, for all holidays, even a couple of small red/white/blue bandanna collars for the kitties even though they don't get to go outside.

Naw, can't be, there is always something! Now, all I have to do is get all of their bandannas washed and pressed to put in their dresser drawer...sigh.

Wow, good find for organizing your collars and leashes! We have ours in a wicker basket on the sideboard near the front door, but we don't have anywhere near as many as you do. What lucky dogs!

See ya!

That is a great way to organize your collars and leashes!
I have only two collars and some leashes. But I have lots of dresses and it is not easy to keep them in order!

Hey Scout & Freyja,
You have such a clever mum! Does this mean that you have a leash souvenier for every walk you guys have been on?? Sounds like it.

I know what I'm going to get Mom for Christmas now. Thanks for the tip...just have to find one like yours.

Wow! You guys sure have alot! We have quite a bit too but most were given by friends as presents. We haven't used some of them. We usually just wear the choke collar or the nylon type of choke collar.

O my good friends, you can never have too many leashes or opportunities to use them... well, there is that one ception what is when you have to go see doctor, but even then you get nice car ride!

I love your colorful collection!

Very nice collection, and very well organized too!

I have two training bags full for all of our pack, but also have something similar hanging on the inside of our coat closet door, with each of the dogs names above the hooks.

You can never have enough:)
