There is no mention of the fire on the Kiss-a-bull blog (entirely understandable); however, condolences may be left on their last post. Donations are being collected here to assist the family and surviving animals.

The last words of a very intelligent dog
Before I go, I just want to remind all you pups and kitties to always have plenty of love for your humans even if they might be grumpy. Sometimes they get caught up in all sorts of things and take us for granted. That doesn't mean they don't love and need us. Also you humans, remember why you have us around. If you are feeling stressed out, pet us. It's been proven to lower your blood pressure. Also keep lots of treats handy. And for everyone, enjoy life. Always take time for walks, frisbee and CAR RIDES.
And one last thing for you humans. If you are considering adding another dog to your home, think about giving one of older dogs a chance. We don't chew up your shoes, pee inside (well, not unless we really can't help it) or need lots of training. Plus you will have a very loyal friend for the rest of our lives. ~Domi, the therapy dog, 1996-2009

The music by IZ on your blog is so appropriate with this post. We have our candle lit for these precious pups to help them find their way together to the Rainbow Bridge. It's such a sad, sad loss...
Oh my gosh, they were my friends too, and this is so sad.
Its not fair for this to happen.

Today is a sad day, we are still numb...

We can't even imagine what Sandra is going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with her constantly. What a horrible thing to have happen.
I just want to commend you for the thoughtful comment you left on Sandra's blog this morning. I have such difficulty finding the "right" words to say when someone is in such pain, so I really appreciate your heartfelt and wonderful words of wisdom. What you wrote is so true and I hope Sandra realizes, in time, that it could have been so much worse... like losing her child.
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your baby. I can't imagine such agony, but perhaps that's why you are so good at comforting others now.
Take care- Kathy
This has been the sadest news. We are so so sorry.
Will send our prayers.
Big hugs,
Sierra Rose and family.
It's so horrible. We are sending prayers their way.

Terribly sad news. My heart goes out to her and her family. I will keep her in my thoughts and hoping she'll find some peace in all this chaos.
