It is so furry NOT nice to take what is not yours - even if no one sees you doing it!

Stealing is WRONG and leaves a furry bad taste in Freyja's mouth. We read on Sugar's bloggy that mean people are taking her momma's words and photos and using them like they were their own! How un-canine is that!? Lots of folks just right click, copy and paste without thinking - just like running across the street to chase a squirrel when you know you are not supposed to leave the yard.

We would like all of our bloggy buddies (cats and dogs) to go to this spot over on Dynamic Drive. It has some code that you can put into the HTML of your bloggy so that sneaky people can't just grab and run with your stuff. If you aren't familar with inserting the code into your bloggy, let my momma know and she will send you HTML that you can copy and paste into a gadget on your bloggy - EZ Peazy!

Wanna see that the code does? Try to right click or copy and paste on my bloggy! Cool, huh? (Mimi's note: nasty folks will still be able to 'control C' to copy words, however, the general, run-of-the-mill blogger will always look for an easy way to steal and the code disables the 'right click' function.)

I am very much glad that you put this up. Of course... we know it was NOT one of our beloved furends that did this... it was some sneaky person who is trying to make Green Papers... the Easy way. Well, we will show them, Don't mess with our Furends. right???

Great post. Now exactly where do we add that code? Our Momster is very lacking in HTML skills.

I had to come right over and find out what that picture was all about! I knew something big was up by the look on that wonderful face. I'll have to talk to JP about the new html--he's the resident techie! But I did try to right click on your blog---too funny "no fetch zone." VEry cool.

Just wanted to let you know that I tried to copy and paste your blog and I'm still able to do it! I can still copy and paste your pictures and text too!! All I did was just right click on the picture and "save as". I tried that with just two pictures though, the one in this post and the previous post.

A wonderful post and we are furry upset on Sugar's behalf that this happened. We've known of about four or five other blogs over the last three years or so who have had material stolen - and we're disgusted by such behavior. As you know, our Mama is totally puter-challenged, but put up a do not linky etc. on our blog this morning, and did something about back tracking that Frankie Furter talked about in last Friday's post. We don't know if this will help, but we are mad! Thanks for making such a great blog today - we will do one in a day or two when we unnerstand what we are sayin'!

We can still copy and paste from your blog. But we like the idea a lot! I was pretty disgusted to read about what's been going on when I saw it this morning.

We read that on Sugar's post and got all upset. The nerve of people. We went to one of the sites and sure enough..there was all kinds of pictures of other people's blogs. Totally bad and disgusting. You know my mom..she doesn't have a clue how to do a html or a url or anything so if you could pleeeze help when you have time? If mom does it herself, she will blow up the internet. Lots of love, Holly and mom

Its sad to see that someone is trying to take the trust and fun out of our bloggys.

They would not be a very trust worthy friend.

We, too, can still copy, paste, and "save as". This whole situation is just unbelievable! How on earth could someone think it's ok to do this?

Scout & Freyja,

Thanks so much for the tip. I stopped over Sugar's blog to wish her some luck. Who would ever think of doing something so downright wrong and mean? Ugh...

Happy Trails,
Thanks again,
Angel Ziggy

That is just wrong on so many levels.

Peoples can be so mean sometimes. A dog would never do such a fing... well, maybe if it was tasty and left on the counter... (not me, of course!)!

Thanks for the info! I didn't know you could add code to your blog to stop things like that from happening! I had seen that Sugar and Baxter had gotten their stuff stolen.....horrible!
