You need to go visit with the older an' handicapped pets on Petfinder.com cuz someday you is gonna be old an' you might need a home, too. You might find just the right sweetie to kiss an' to l♥ve.

Momma says that we could adopt one of those old dogs except that I am too big of a grouch. The only reason I put up with pee-wee is because he came here when he was little and I let him know I am the big dog.

Mommy would love to adopt a few more doggies but we just don't have the room at all here. We have plenty of room outside but the apartment is small. Hopefull one day she'll change her minds.

Domi said...: Thank you for posting about the old doggies that need homes. My boy and girl adopted me when I was 10 and I am so happy they did. Who knows where I would be if they hadn't. Plus, us old pups know to potty outside and not eat fancy shoes.

Before I go, I just want to remind all you pups and kitties to always have plenty of love for your humans even if they might be grumpy. Sometimes they get caught up in all sorts of things and take us for granted. That doesn't mean they don't love and need us. Also you humans, remember why you have us around. If you are feeling stressed out, pet us. It's been proven to lower your blood pressure. Also keep lots of treats handy. And for everyone, enjoy life. Always take time for walks, frisbee and CAR RIDES.

And one last thing for you humans. If you are considering adding another dog to your home, think about giving one of older dogs a chance. We don't chew up your shoes, pee inside (well, not unless we really can't help it) or need lots of training.
