A Vigil for the lost lives of 100 Sled Dogs

Please follow the link to add your name in remembrance of the 100 sled dogs who were shot and stabbed and thrown away for no other reason than their owner felt they no longer had value.

Such a tragic event...may today's vigil bring us all together to remember the 100 sled dogs and to hope that nothing like that ever happens again. We, too, blogged about this event today. Please stop over and visit us for some pics and videos. Thank you for posting this.

we will sign it. That is very upsetting and so uncalled for....totally evil. Those poor helpless dogs...bless them at the Rainbow Bridge which has to be a much better place. Love, Debbie and Holly

My Mimi
You know to do the right thing and speak about this sadness, and you did.
I stand with you,, and join in a howl that this will never happen again.
Tears have fallen from my eyes when I heard about this horror,,,
The heartless humans must stop doing this,,,
I howl with you and others in memory of these furries who died.
We must not forget them,
love

We join in the sorrow and outrage over the loss of these beautiful noble creatures. We have lit our candle, dressed in red, and let our voice be heard for change! May their deaths bring about an awakening in the way animals are treated and may they not have died in vain.
